Wyrd Sisters
Adapted for the stage by Stephen Briggs
9th to 13th May 2017 at New Wimbledon Studio Theatre
Directed by Richard Broughton
The Play's the Thing in Terry Pratchett’s Wyrd Sisters, adapted for the stage by Stephen Briggs. It’s a fantastical retelling of a certain “Scottish Play” where the witches are the goodies. Add in some theatrical players, divers soldiers, peasants, a wicked Duke and Duchess as well as a ghost and a Fool and you’ve got all the ingredients for a comical brew.
When King Verence is murdered by his own cousin, the land is in uproar. Can words change the past and let Evil rule or will the witches be in time to save the day?
