Thinking about pitching for Carlton or just curious about the process and possibilities of directing with us?

All are welcome and encouraged to attend whether you've directed a thousand plays or never so much as ordered an actor to leave the stage, and whether you have a clear vision or just a vague idea. This is the perfect opportunity to discuss your ideas with us and ask questions to previous Carlton directors and those likely to be on the selection panel. Ensure your production has the best possible chance of being chosen as we guide you through all the processes of designing and pitching a production as well as clarifying the practicalities of the spaces.

We will also be discussing our three additional Centenary Production planned for next year which will take place outside of our usual home, The Studio at New Wimbledon Theatre.

Even if you don't have a play in mind, but are curious about directing, we can help you find something.
